Outside of the Teddy bear toss…I don’t think many flames fans attend many Hitmen games.

I can see the Wranglers attracting a lot more flames fans taking on random games than the Hitmen do…

I wouldn’t be shocked to see Canuck and Oiler fans showing up for those Bakersfield and Abbotsford games.

Fair point. Maybe a "popcorn only" stand would be the way to go, especially on Sunday with the $2 popcorn ramping up demand.

My first choice personally would be burgers, as those were not available on the club level at all.

I guess AHL.com isn't carrying live audio feeds anymore... serious bummer.

This game is extremely dull.

3-1 Final for the Firebirds.

Brett Sutter with the lone goal.

Not the sharpest game for the boys. Lots of offsides, pass behind players, pass to open areas with no one to receive it.

The high-end prospects were invisible. Outside of a 3 minute window in the third period.

They are missing that Justin Kirkland, Luke Philp, and Glenn Gawdin type veterans from last season.

I was able to find a Coachella Valley radio station feed, but nothing on AHL.com itself.

Game wasn't great but Chris and Darryl Sutter were there to watch. Pretty awesome seeing Chris cheer on his brother (who scored)

The Colorado Eagles will look for their second win of the new season tonight at home against the Wranglers at the Budweiser Events Center at 7:05 pm MDT.

The last time the Eagles and the Wranglers, previously the Stockton Heat, met was in game four of the Pacific Division Finals. Stockton would knock Colorado out of the running for the 2022 Calder Cup Championship beating the Eagles 1-0.

The Avalanche have sent down Ben Meyers, he of some considerable college free agent interest this past summer.

Listening to coaches talking with the available media and watching the last few games. This could be a really tough start to the season. Coachella and Colorado are not necessarily easy outs. I wouldn't be surprised if the team starts 0-6 but even more importantly, I think its a fixable solution. I hope the guys in that room can figure it out quick.

I wanted to mention that the blue line might be the weakness that is causing some problems with transitioning and clearing out the box in front of the goalie. Losing a few of their blue liners that were solid previous season doesn't help. Such is the life of a development league. Hopefully the team can learn a thing or two from this start.

Is the game as lopsided as the score is looking? Trying to multi task at the Hitmen game
