The Abbotsford Canucks enter tonight’s must-win game three against the Calgary Wranglers down 2-0 in a best-of-five series.
A win and the club lives to play another day. A loss and the season is over.
And while the task to win three-straight games to eliminate the top-ranked team in the American Hockey League seems daunting – it is not impossible. One only needs to look at the history of best-of-five series in the AHL to see that it has been done.

Wolanin probably could have easily gone to the box during that Powerplay.

They had no issue putting the Wranglers down 2 men for an after whistle crosscheck on Karlsson, but ignore the cross check/interference to the back of Jones.

Would have been nice to cap off an otherwise excellent day of hockey with a Wranglers win but I knew it wouldn’t be easy beating Abbotsford in their own building. It’s hard to tell on the feed, I’m not sure if the GWG tonight was deflected or not. Either way, pretty confident that Wolf can put up a wall in at least one of the next two games.
