Saint John beats Charlottetown 4-3 in OT. No Kuznetsov. All zeroes for Francis. 34gp/10g/27a/37pts,+12, 24 PIM.
Poirier 1g,+1. 48gp/12g/33a/45pts,+17, 34 PIM. 4th in D scoring.
Whynot had zeroes in a 7-4 loss to Blainville. Whynot? I don't know! 39gp/4g/13a/17pts,-5, 40 PIM.

Francis was first star with 2g,+1. 36gp/14g/28a/42pts,+17, 28 PIM.
Poirier had no points, but was +3. 50gp/12g/35a/47pts,+21, 34 PIM. Interestingly enough, he is fourth best (1st for D) on the Sea Dogs in plus/minus, and tied for 13th in the league for D (26th overall). I would hazzard a guess that he's making progress with his own-zone play. 5th in D scoring.

Was at the Top Prospects game last night.
Thought the teams put on a decent show although Team White pretty much dominated Team Red and Shane Wright.
Wright certainly started out strong, but took a big hit by TW Dman Noah Warren that really took him out of the game. Warren is a monster of a dman at 6-5 with surprising speed and soft hands. He really commands the ice and I can see his stock rising pretty rapidly.
All of Team White looked good, Firkus, Gazizov, Sapovaliv and Geekie stood out.
Team Red just werent able to gel and get rolling under voracious checking by Team White. Dman Kevin Korchinski stood out with his speed and puck handling and Luca Del Bel Belluz and Matthew Savoie were the forwards that caught my eye. Wright really seemed to disappear after the big hit.
Fun game, really enjoyed the atmosphere and Kitchener put on a good show.
