Any chance of us seeing a line of Baertschi-Granlund-Poirier? Throw Reinhart with Olson and Knight to give us a strong shut down line.

Personally, id rather keep Granlund/Reinhart together as they seem to have good chemistry. Reinhart also did lead the Heat in points, so id rather keep in an offensive role as opposed to a shutdown role.

I think it'll be Reinhart/Granlund/Poirier as they played terrific the last game. Reinhart is not a "shut down" guy, he is our offensive powerhouse most nights.

Baertschi has done very well with Knight. Huge question mark who ends up on the other wing though. Maybe Locke, maybe Klimchuk, maybe Miller.

Baertschi has been passed on the depth chart, but the positive is that it's not because he's gotten worse. It's just that there's been so many good surprises

PMM...considering the Heat dont start until Friday Im assuming that unless Detroit wins their series, which is doubtful, they may get some guys back before the series is done. Detroit could get swept by the Bruins now and be out by Saturday. Latest they would be out is if Wings series went 7 games taking them to next Wednesday. I think we need to sweep GR or take at least 2 of first 3.

Looks like they did the paper transactions with Jurco, Sheahan, Glendening so those guys could go back down.

Yeah, that's basically their first line haha. We'll have to fight fire with fire.

It should be on AHL Live (which you will need to purchase a subscription to), however the webpage is still not showing any playoff matchups of playoff subscriptions yet. They seem to be a little behind.

So I did a little digging through information from the last two playoff runs and came up with a list of the Franchise Leaders in playoff scoring. Our leading scorer in the playoffs is Brett Sutter with 11 points. I think that's another record we might see fall during this playoff run.

Spoiler due to chart size:

Spoiler!

Also, in our previous playoff runs, we have never been past the second round:

2009-10 AHL Playoffs

Round 1:

Abbotsford - 4
Rochester - 3

Round 2:

Hamilton - 4
Abbotsford - 2

2011-12 Playoffs:

Round 1:

Abbotsford - 3
Milwaukee - 0

Round 2:

Toronto -4
Abbotsford - 1

Overall Record: 10-11

I'm not afraid to say it. Joni is a good looking fellow. He melted my wife's panties pretty quickly. But totally not mine. Definitely not mine....
