Actually naw. Smith developed the stink eye later. He used to be just a hot head. Then slammed sticks around in arizona. Markstrom does take some responsibility but not too long before he works his way through the 7 stages of becoming mike smith.

More of the same in game 60 something. Not ready to play. Give up the lead. Can't win in overtime. Invisible stars. Can't win three in a row. Fragile. Very little improvement over the course of the year on any of these issues. I am not convinced by advanced stat arguments that suggest there are silver linings buried in the Flame's game. If there were they would have emerged by now. This is a very very average, pretty rudderless team IMO.

Troll my ass. That’s what I meant and I watched more Flames hockey than most people been alive.

Yes, he got a pass because they were rebounds and deflections. Nevermind there were 6 of them.

Yeah
Can’t blame him a lot last night at all. There were lots of breakdowns in front of him last night. There was a few time where we couldn’t clear things out in front of him, a few times our defenders were laying in the blue paint and at least one goal that was a 3rd rebound.
He made lots of great saves last night, but when things went south, more often than not it turned into a shooting gallery
