That’s unfortunate for him and for the team.

That will hurt the Avs. Their chances of coming back against a strong Stars team took a huge hit with that.

Man, that's rough for the Avs. When he's playing and on his game he's a very valuable player. But he clearly has issues that need to be dealt with. Again/still. A little more important than some hockey games.

I'm not so sure he can be fixed. If the Avalanche could hide this they would because he's been a huge difference maker for them all season. But they have to be biting their tongues cursing because he just dealt them a massive blow out of what I'll call selfishness.

That’s probably it for him.
Probably derailed the Avs playoffs as well. He was playing great.

Hopefully he gets the help he needs. Not good when you see cases like this.

Normally this stuff is scuttled nicely by teams. I'd have to think something significant happened where they just couldn't turn a blind eye or let it go to continue their playoff run. For his own sake I wish him well, but man, pro athletes live a wild lifestyle. No doubt a bunch of them face these same issues.

Because I'm not up on drug lingo, what is gas? Tried to Google and it says everything from pot to alcohol to steroids. Didn't seem to mention cocaine.
