60 games compared to 400.
Sandbagged it for most it even though he showed he had it in him in the playoffs.
Sam Bennett really hurt the Flames. ouch.

Needed a game with some offensive confidence and multi point games for Huberdeau and Mangiapane. Hopefully they start piling up the wins and the points come.
Need a better overall 60 minute game the 2nd was bad no cohesion in the defensive end and breaking out.
Keep riding Vladar maybe he's our Binnington this season.

Pleased with the effort especially being the first game back after a looooong road trip! Boys came out flying and never really quit. Had to expect some pushback but they weathered it and finished going away. Perfect.
Vladar was excellent...no complaints at all on his play.
The whole team was decent and apparently motivated.

The Tkachuk and Monahan trades involved the 2024/2025/2026 draft picks, so this year's results won't have any impact on which pick moves.

Great goaltending and they finished their chances.
Love it! Hope they build on it.

Keep Vladar in the starter's net until he falters. This team is still playing mediocre hockey and needs that backstop so that they can get to the level of play they are likely capable of. This team still struggles mightily to recover the puck in their own zone and then exit with the puck. It's like watching what last year's Flames did to opponents with their forecheck but now they're on the receiving end.

How on earth does Vladar not have a Vader mask for the Blasty's?
I am saddened by this.

These are all the pucks that didn't end up in the back of our net...
And this brick wall is the reason.

Needed that one. Second was a little shaky but Vladar was the man. The win feels good. Zadorov is just fun to watch.

That was a fun game. The booing of Chunky at the start of the game, followed by a healthy ovation after his video, followed immediately by more booing was perfect. Well done C of Red.
Not going to take too much from this game except to say that Vladar has absolutely earned another start and that it was nice to see Dube and Mangiapane hit the scoresheet. If only we can get Kadri going again — he looked really tentative out there and made a number of poor, lazy looking plays.
Oh, and the Blasty uniforms looked amazing in person, so clean with just the thin striping and without the red on the sleeves. I’ll reserve judgment on the reverse retros but the Blastys were a solid 9.5 out of 10.
