My off-the-cuff reactions so far:
- Stamps have done well, Huff doing his usual excellent job
- Bombers have lost some key pieces on offence, defence will still be strong
- Riders strangely quiet for a team hosting the Grey Cup
- Elks signing some big names, but lots of question marks remain
- BC with an all-Canadian QB tandem is a bold strategy
- Argos continuing strategy of signing former Stamps players lol - I like the Ja'Gared Davis signing.
- Redblacks will be much better in 2022 and will likely make the playoffs
- Ti-Cats appear to have taken a step back. Dane Evans will have to step up big time
- Not quite sure what Montreal is doing

What a classy farewell. I hate the Stampeders East but I do hope he does well there.

The Calgary Stampeders have signed national defensive back Elie Bouka.
Bouka – who has made Calgary his off-season home since his days with the University of Calgary Dinos – has 28 regular-season games and five post-season contests of Canadian Football League experience over three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
“The addition of Elie improves our Canadian content and adds to our depth at defensive back and on special teams,” said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. “We’re pleased to welcome him back to Calgary.”
“I have had the chance to call Calgary home for a decade now,” said Bouka. “Having the opportunity to be back here playing for the city that has given me so much love and support means more than words can express. I am ready to play my heart out every week for the love of the city.”

Huff should also be on the Argos payroll given how he's found and developed half their roster over the past few years.

The CFL should just admit their salary cap is more of a gentlemen's agreement and not a real cap. Argos every year make a new team from free agency and it's a joke.

It will be combustible, that's for sure, but it will likely also draw more eyeballs to CFL games and that's a good thing.

Maybe Carter will pull an Antonio Brown and quit mid game.

CFL has never had a hard cap. As long as it’s been in place it has been the latter. There are “penalties” for going over but it isn’t like the nhl where being cap compliant is a necessity to ice a team.
CFL is much closer to baseball cap than it is to the nhl.

No confusion at all. We all know it's not a real salary cap because teams violate it nearly annually. The issue with the Argos is that they are building teams through free agency which should not be possible when you consider free agency is where players get overpaid for their services. Since the CFL is very secretive about the whole thing nobody really knows how much teams are really spending over the cap. Kavis Reed isn't the sharpest pencil in the box but even he could come up with a system to circumvent the cap. I just wish they would either go back to letting teams spend as much as they want or make it a real salary cap as the way it is now teams that actually try to be compliant like the Stamps are at a disadvantage because they can't keep all their players.
