So how many contracts the Flames have now, including the Bouma, Jooris, and Bryon ones?

Glad he signed.

I am not sure he will ever become a regular NHL'er, but an organization DEFINITELY needs these players for their farm team to help nurture other prospects and ensure that the right culture exists at the development stage. He plays like a Flame - hard working, lay it all out on every shift type. I feel having a 2-way contract on a guy who may never make the NHL is a waste except for players like this.

If he had just a little more skill I could see the NHL potential. He's a great AHLer though with the exact work ethic you want out of AHL vets.

Sweet.

Have always been a HUGE Elson supporter. Every time I see him play he impresses me more and more. Screams the same sort of heart and hard work qualities that have become the identity of the Flames organization over the last 2 years.

I believe that he will eventually force himself onto an NHL roster as an excellent 4th line player.

Actually one correction it should be 45, unless Kylington or McDonld plays more than 10 NHL games.

I'm only counting 43 currently signed including Kylington & McDonald, Elson would make 44.
