Seems excessive, and over dramatic, and paranoid, especially here in bowl games where teams don’t play each other year over year anyway. It also looks comical with all the theatrics.
In Michigan game those guys were out in the field preventing the sky cam from looking at the huddle on a time out. Again, excessive, and overly paranoid if it is to prevent sign stealing, as it doesn’t seem to be a big deal in the NFL where stakes are just as big if not bigger.

In the NFL the QB and 1 guy on Defence wear a headset to get the plays called in where in College they don't so its all communicated from the sidelines.

Honestly, I was to coach one game this year where we use the giant billboards to send in playcalls. I wanna send in a pie frog jet plane running shoe call.

That should be interesting. And entertaining. Not sure how a 'traditional' football market will react to him, he doesn't exactly fit the pattern of a traditional coach. This will be fun to watch. Mike Leach and lane Kiffen join an already pretty tough conference. Not everyone can be a winner.

So in the actual NCAA football championship North Dakota State became the first team since Yale in 1894 to go 16-0 enroute to defeating James Madison University 28-20 in the FCS championship game. It is their 8th national title in 9 seasons. Not sure if anyone watched this game? I caught the last quarter which was right down to the wire with NDSU intercepting JMU in the endzone at the end of the game.
Technically this is actually the game that officially crowns the NCAA football champion. The FBS game (tonight btw, it should be an awesome game) isn't actually sanctioned by the NCAA as a means to determine the champion although everyone knows it really is.

Trump and Melania marching with the military to start it off was pretty awkward.. loved the Rocky IV training montage music to start before that though

Burrow playing 4D chess, looking awful while knowing Trevor will look great so the Bengals take Chase Young and tank again next year for Trevor.

You'd think I would have learned from yesterday. But yeah how crazy is almost throwing for 300 yards and rushing for over 50 in a half, with four total TDs, being a step down from your last performance?

This game feels a little Houston / Kansas City
LSU might just be too skilled and once Burrows settled in it started to show.

Man having these 4 clowns on the sideline calling the game is annoying.
What happened to a couple guys in the booth?
All of them trying to be funny, talking over each other. Awful announcing.

Canadian stream only? I’ve got Herbstreit and his sidekick only.
Clemson looks shellshocked. Can’t miss too many chances to tie it up but keep going 3 and out. Lawrence missing too many throws.

Speaking of yesterday’s game, LSU reminds me of the Chiefs. Burrow, like Mahomes, is definitely great. And like Mahomes he certainly has a killer group of weapons around him.

The betting action on the College Football Playoff National Championship shifted from LSU to Clemson on Monday, causing the point spread to plunge in the hours leading up to kickoff.
LSU had been a consensus 6-point favorite over Clemson late last week and was attracting 80-90% of the money at sportsbooks around the nation.
Money on underdog Clemson -- much of it from professional bettors -- started to appear over the weekend and continued throughout game day. The line closed as low as LSU -4 at some sportsbooks.
