Something rotten at the core of the group
It might be confidence, but it doesn't matter
Sell wisely, but sell hard

Can we give up on the playoffs now and get something for these players? This is the most boring version of the Flames I think I've ever seen.
Pelts is the only thing worth watching these games for.

I imagine a parallel universe where we trade everyone including Hubby for Nashville returns and stock more picks than the Blackhawks

Time to call it a season. Selling doesnt really help us as we are still in our "window". Bring up young guys to see what we have. Move guys like Lewis to make that room. And lets just hope this was a bad luck season.
Also Markstrom was excellent.

I can't wait for this team to have multiple playmakers so they can actually score clutch goals once again.
Finally a good showing by Markstrom, but still a loss
I really hope this team sells at least something tomorrow. Need to be future orientated from here until training camp next season.

Well...that was a game. =/
There is just no 'step up' to the Flames players game.

Once again they make a third stringer look better than he was by mostly getting junk shots on him.
The effort in the third was pretty pathetic and it looked like they were the ones who played last night.

Trade everyone off this team for a bag of pucks tomorrow. Pathetic effort , except for Markstrom.

Yes. The fact we're still playing him with Kadri is insanity. I've never seen 2 players have less chemstry. Kadri holds the puck way too much. Huberdeau is trying to make too many crazy passes. I think Huberdeau needs a guy like Walker Duehr on his line.

On any given night one of the three areas is a letdown: Often goaltending, less defence, sometimes offence in the later two periods. Tonight the offence didn't show up. All good, there's next year and the two home games to get revenue which will make this sad season totally worth it.
