I would love to see Vladar's record since Mangiapane was put back on the Backlund line. I think he is undefeated in regulation since then.

Turned it off at 2-1 and went out to run errands instead. I'm pleasantly surprised by the final score. Sounds like they finally played like the team we thought they would be at the start of the season. Hopefully they can build off this and string a few wins together.

Good effort top to bottom.
And honestly to me that's part of the value of playing youngsters. I dont think its a coincidence that Lucic's best games have come right after he was scratched for Phillips, and today when Pelletier got in with lots of talk that it's Lucic he should be replacing.
Pelletier was great. Didnt like how little ice time he got in the second but he was impressive with the time he did get during the game. 6:34 isnt enough though, coach needs to take a little risk and trust these youngsters. There is a good player there.

ngl, down 2-1 and how that happened was a tad worried. Good resilience against a team like Tampa, good on ya Flames!

Really really liked that 4th line today. Nice having some speed and offensive skill, it's doesn't need to be all slugs and checkers. Never thought much of Duehr before this year, but he's big and has good speed. Very pleasantly surprised. And small sample size but Pelletier is who I've always thought he was - good skater, very high hockey IQ, can play on any line. He's got a good future.
Vladar was very good. Since the Flames are more of a 1a/1b tandem I think you just run with the hot hand. He deserves a good run of games.

Great performance from the flames. Hard working from beginning to end. Nice to see. Thought team speed was evident today.

I giggled at the Lightning fan chucking a jersey on the ice.

Terrific game! Thought the Flames brought the drive and intensity we expect from a "Sutter team"....
All lines firing on all cylinders, and, absent a couple of errors an all-around gutsy performance coming back to win.
Pelletier was just fine and I liked they got him a wee bit of time on PP2.
Flames still need to fix PP1 - still way too much dicking around in the back end, but other than that...the crowd went home fat, dumb and happy. What's not to like?
