It's crazy that we added depth and we are still potentially graduating two rookies. And Bennett and Jankowski are all that are left from last year's horrendous bottom 6

Not really tbh, I'm pretty sure if it was a spot on the right side ufg that it'd be Andersson penciled in for the top 6 instead of Valimaki. I was still reasonably happy with Juuso's play though

Close but Valimaki is the better skater, his ability to jump into the play and get back quickly sets him apart. that said, both should see lots of play this season.

Yeah, pretty easily in my mind. Valimaki got better every game and Andersson seemed to get worse as the quality of the opposition got better/faster.
Andersson can't skate, looked bad against every forecheck he faved in preseason

It came down to Valimaki being a better left side defenseman than Andersson IMO.
