We all saw the photographer get mobbed after the Croatian winner. Like a pro, he continued snapping - and got some shots which I think are very special

I wanna say Kaka (But might have been Cannavaro after the 2006 World Cup).

That was the goal that sent them into the World Cup final and they didnt celebrate nearly as hard as the English celebrated the goal that beat Tunisia.

You have to respect Cortez for continuing to shoot during the mele, and Mandzukic for being the one to help him up and apologize afterward.

These events demonstrate not only sportsmanship, but how to treat people in general.

Kudos.

But still nowhere near as much as the South Koreans against the Germans and they weren't even progressing.
In fact that was probably THE celebration of the tournament because the whole world got to join in on the laugh.

Well aware of how betting lines work.

Just stating a fact.

Kaka had an amazing year in 2007, his performance against United in the semi finals that year was legendary stuff. A shame injuries limited his prime years, one of the best Attacking midfielders of all time. Never had that defining moment for Brazil tho, which is a shame. I saw him play live in 2013 and even tho he didn’t have the speed his long balls he would play were amazing to see live.

England's Best Player? Jordan Henderson. So says England's Previous Best Player.

Quote:
ROONEY'S PRAISE FOR HENDERSON
As he listed the players and gave due props, he had some special words for the Liverpool captain.

"Jordan Henderson has excelled as Liverpool captain, helping them to the Champions League final," Rooney noted on ESPN's official YouTube channel.

"And I actually thought he was England's best player throughout the World Cup."

That's no small statement considering the performances of Jordan Pickford and Harry Maguire amongst others.

And it's a comment that will earn him some rare praise amongst Liverpool supporters, a fanbase he has done little to appeal to with spells at both United and Everton.

Nevertheless, there's certainly substance in the argument that Henderson was England's star performer.

Locke, you and I both recognize, that Rooney isn't renowned for his wisdom.

That was sensational from Belgium on the counter, and a fine save from Pickford to prevent the goal.

There were a couple moments of magic but that game was pretty tepid.

Yeah it really needs to be eliminated, guys just don't want to get hurt, it's basically a glorified friendly.

Its kind of a tough call, on the one hand you do really want the 3rd place game, it makes a degree of sense although the players dont really want to play in it especially as their domestic seasons are starting up in less than a month and they've really only gotten about a week off.

So you're damned if you do and damned if you dont. It would be weird not having it, but theres lots of reasons for scrapping it.

Oh well, I mean look at today, a bunch of players got a run-out at the World Cup.
