Means he wants to play. Esks have rights as he is on their neg list so if he's not signed in the next 10 days he's a free agent as I understand.

I disagree completely with Suitor, when this game started to slide away for the Cats in the third, I would have put in the QB with the huge arm, elite level scrambling and a QB with no film on him.
But what do I know?
Also Brandon Banks is that player that I would hate to coach, he just has no mental toughness at all.

Stamps led the league in sacks going into this week, and their D has been lights out good so far. Hughes is a great player no doubt, but given they needed the cap space i'd say Huff made the right call as he clearly dealt from a position of strength.

I don't believe that, there wasn't enough cap space for Hughes to be the top payed player on the Stamps defense,especially when the Stamps defensive line is lights out good. Whether we had Hughes or not, wouldn't have made much difference considering what he would have to be paid.
