I'm sure it's Rogers that pays for those appearances, but his Dinner is bought and paid for by Stauffer OEG. One thing I actually respect Bob a lot for is he openly explains that often. During the dark times he would get as negative as he was allowed and then remind people that as a piad paid employee of OEG he was never going to do what some fans were asking of him

He's also complementary of the Flames a fair bit for an Edmonton guy so I have always given him credit for that.

I think we're going to look back and be glad it happened because of the massive ego bump it provided prior to the fall.
Losing 7-4 with their better goalie in net and D "improvements" on display sounds like reason for concern for these surefire contenders, no?
They're claiming to be good enough to win a championship over teams of Toronto's ilk, after all.
What happened guys??
