Kane is a -5 with 6 points in 10 games riding mcshotgun since returning in January
Not sure its that huge of an add, given that it appears one wristed Kane isn't nearly the same player he was last season when he was playing for a contract

Was at the Oilers Bruins tonight because of a family event. My god.. so.., many… Bruins fans. It was hilarious. Our entire section save for 3 people were Bruins fans. It was like a Boston home game.
Now I know Calgary is similar, but I don’t ever recall it being that bad before, and I’ve been to just about every Calgary / Boston home game in the last 20 years. Like, I’m not kidding, it was staggering the amount of Bruins fans in Edmonton tonight.

the NHL record winning pace might have something to do with it

For sure. It’ll be interesting to see how much they come out of the woodwork tomorrow in Calgary too.

Considering most STHs are trying to unload their tickets as often as possible these days, I expect a 50/50 split of red and yellow

Edmonton has only won 3 of their last 10, and is now behind Minnesota, Seattle, and Winnipeg by points percentage.

Monster Truck Michaels made sure to make note that before last night they hadn't lost back to back in regulation since the beginning of January!

Here’s a twitter trade for you.
“I wonder what it would take to do Skinner + Ceci for Karlsson + Reimer.”
I don’t think that I could even make that up. In fairness, the next poster says “3 1sts, Bromberg, Holloway +.”
Some seem to be souring on Draisaitl as well.
And “most important trade deadline ever!!1!1!!”

This ignores super fast crossovers though.

It totally tickles me pink that Edmonton decided to sign Toronto's cast off goalie to a massive longterm contract, and thought this would be the solution to their goaltending problems. Toronto, one of the few teams in the league with similar or worse goaltending issues than Edmonton itself. It's totally intellectually bankrupt.

They are extremely lucky that Skinner turned out.

Think of where they'd be if they didn't luck out with Skinner.

He's probably wishing he didn't sign that extension so early as he left money on the table.

Do we see they winning any of those?

A 10 game losing streak is very possible with that string of opponents.
just for debate, if that happens and they miss the playoffs. Which of their superstars demands a trade first this summer and how long after that till the other one demands the same?

The funny thing is that they win less with Skinner in net even though he has better numbers. He doesn't get the run support
Whereas Campbell gets the run support, but they have to work to outscore the frequent weak goals against.
The mediocrity is a team effort

Skinner hasn't exactly been the model of consistency either. He's played well overall but it was Campbell who went on that heater in January (but has since regressed)...

HFMulletville seems pretty convinced the Flames will trade Weegar for Parayko and then the grease will trade spare parts for Weegar
