Nut shell, Khabib jumped the fence after subbing Conor, went after Conor's BJJ coach Danis, and one of Khabib's croney's jumped the fence and cold cocked Conor while he was recovering. Conor didnt retaliate or incite at all after tapping

Khabib jumps the fence after Conor taps out and goes after Dillon Danis, one of Conor's jiu-jitsu coaches and teammates. Another one of Khabib's guys jumps in the cage and gets a good punch on Conor.
Dana White refuses to put the belt on Khabib after the fight, likely for safety reasons. Crowd was throwing stuff at Khabib as he walked off.

After Connor tapped out and Khabib was celebrating but he jumped out of the octagon and into the crowd and attacked someone in Connors corner. His trainer maybe. Then one of Khabibs friends jumped in the ring and punched Connor in the face. Chaos ensued security all kinds of crazy stuff.

From what Dominek and Joe were commentating, I think it was so out of left field and unprofessional, UFC probably doesn't want to give off the impression they are a circus. Crap like that belongs in the WWF, where it's scripted

UFC has allowed Conner to bring the sport down in class for a long time. It's about time someone came down to his level and beat him there without apology.
No excuses for Khabib lowering himself to Conner's level, but make no mistakes, It is Conner's level in the first place.
You play that game long enough, it will come back to you.
About time for Conner and hopefully the UFC doesn't turn the other cheek the next time a fighter turns the sport into a sideshow.

As happy as I am with the result that was an extremely dumb thing for Khabib to do.

lol some people just don't understand or get pre-fight showmanship. Conor is a showman and that's how he gets a guy like Mayweather to fight him haha
It's all a show to get people to want to watch his fights because they either love him or hate him.
There is a massive difference between what Conor does leading up to a fight and what Khabib just did after the fight.
They are in no way comparable at all.

It was actually two of Khabibs guys who jumped in and hit Conor.
I have this weird biological flaw where I wake up at 6am, no matter when I go to bed. So I wanna sleep but I'm watching the live stream and wondering how long till the post fight presser actually starts?

Clearly you don't.
Khabib and his team took it for much more than just pre fight showmanship; thus the reaction.
You can call it that but when the fighters themselves don't see it that way, what value is your opinion?

There's no set time. It starts when Dana and the fighters are ready.
Edit: It's saying 10 minutes on the countdown clock though.

Incorrect
This is factually incorrect. Conor never jumped the cage to attack someone.
It was a planned act. You can tell, he went one way, a couple of his team members went the other.
Please don't try to compare trash talk to actions after the fight.

No it's not.
This is a lower level.
Khabib won but effed up. His domination of McGregor is the sideline story.

What Connor does is raise the animosity and anger to 11 before a fight with his trash talking and crap like the bus attack. And much of it in extremely personal and right in his opponent's face. You can't light a bonfire under a pot then cry innocent when it boils over.

As Joe Rogan pointed out during the mayhem, Khabib is a prideful man, and he didn't take any of that as a joke or showmanship. He took it deadly seriously. S***-talk his family and he'll come after you.
No, it doesn't excuse Khabib, but it was set in motion by McGregor.

Sure, I'll even give you that this took things to a new low. I'm not excusing what Khabib and his team did at all.
But that does not change the fact of who kept lowering it so many times before.
At some point it was bound to happen and UFC should take a lot of responsibility for letting the farce build up so long.
And Conner is certainly no innocent victim here.

Which explains why he went after Dillon Danis?
