We tend to focus a ton on their misses (Virtanen and Joe Levi) but they've had some very good picks
Quinn Hughes (yeah too early to tell but I think he's really good)
Elias Petterson
Brock Boeser
Bo Horvat
They've done OK. A couple of misses, but most teams have those.
If they got a top 3 pick in this draft that would be really hard to screw up.
Jack Hughes is a franchise player in the making.
Cozens and Kakko are starting the year as the default #2 and #3 and someone is going to have to really step up to displace them
If they get a top 3 pick I think they are getting a top of the roster player.

Boeser is legit. Now like any one I don't want Vancouver to get spoiled because as history has shown they don't handle that with any grace or humility, but that guy is awesome and a top line sniper. Gives them something on a team that otherwise would have no top tier players.
Horvat is overrated. I hope the Monahan comparisons die when Sean tears up the league this year and puts up a goal total well beyond anything Horvat will come close to.
