I thought Yasin Ehliz had a very good game, he was very aggressive on the forecheck - I was really impressed by his motor and smarts

I think 39 would be a great number for Dube because, if were making comparisons, Dube reminds me of a young Doug Gilmour. Thinks the game so well defensively yet it doesn’t take away from his smarts on the offensive side of the game.

Bennett was supposed to be our Gilmour. If Dube can become that I'm

Considering that Kerby Rychel currently has 39 I don't see Dube getting it.

The Flames always get awful veterans (and the occasional useful one -- Brendan) to take #8 so it'd be cool to see a good young player get it.

Dube wore 19 in Kelowna, I'd be fine with him wearing 91. Thoughts?

Dube is too small. I didn't see him punch any faces. I doubt he can pry a roster spot from Peluso imo.

I guess I agree with the idea that Dube won't pry a spot from Peluso. If Dube makes the team, it will most-likely be at the expense of Lazar or Hathaway.

I continue to grow more and more fond of Kylington.

Dube is impressive.

I'm looking forward to watching Phillips and Valimaki in the AHL, I think they may dominate.

Mangiapane is good.

No kidding. Bennett is a subset of Dube in the Calgary Flames breadcrumb.

Last time I checked ,59 was a real number and it would be cool if one day Dube would become the best Nhler to wear that number.....Step aside Chad Larose!

I'm ok with that. Gives the team plenty of practice time to work out the kinks before the season starts.

will be good to see the full squad in the next couple games... like to see peters shake up the lines more, get as many guys comfortable playing with each other as possible...

One thing I've noticed and really liked in pretty much all the games is the speed the team plays at and the work effort. It reminded me of the '14-'15 team. When the entire team is bought in and playing that good breaks and good things happen. Some people call it getting lucky bounces.

These young guys were skating hard and they were fast on pucks. I truly believe this is how guys want to play the game. You want to work hard and when you're on the bench watching your teammates buying in you want to do the same.

I was so impressed (as others) with how Dube plays with pace and he would just make the team that much faster. Hopefully he can continue his play and force himself onto the team.

It's going to be an amazing year.

Do some just see what they want to see?

All indications are Kylington had a good game, I only saw about half of it and he looked good while I was watching.

I even saw he was on the ice for the only goal against but still saw he was in position, in front of the net, covering the open man. Leipsic came in from the other wing and made his moves to score.

I'm not saying you are wrong I just put Kylington into a group with Benny in that he is so polarizing.

I for one like him and think he can make the NHL but only time will tell.
I was at the game, and watched him closely. He showed he can skate, but we already know that. I was looking for a flash of brilliance, some offensive spark, something, because as we know, he is not a physical player and his defence remains somewhat suspect...let's just say he is not and has never been known as a defence-first guy. He got turned around a number of times, and did not make any strong plays, offensively or defensively. Ergo, vs. a weak Canucks team, he was sub par relative to his peers. I do not agree that he had a good game.
I remain strongly unconvinced that he can succeed in the NHL. Sorry!

The Dube number talk makes me wonder if all the numbers are being used in a season for the entire league. 78 seems like something no one would have.

Maybe someone could grab the hashtag symbol.
