This is the first evening I've been frustrated with the television coverage. We've got Canadian women at the top of the leader boards in two different events and we have 5 channels showing the NBA All-Star Game and 2 channels showing the Leafs... I understand that these networks are contractually obligated to show certain things, and I shouldn't complain considering the high quality of the streaming options we have, but it's a little annoying.

Have to say I'm a bit underwhelmed by Big Air. The ladies are doing 720s. It almost just seems like a simplified version of slopestyle.

Glad to see Ice Dance on French CBC. Surprised it's not elsewhere....like CofR said, frustrating night for broadcasting.

The German bobsled got first and flipped onto its side for dramatic effect.

No kidding... I had it on, not paying attention to who was next when they went to commercial. When the commercial was done, they flipped to yesterday's bobsled.

So, back to curling for me now.

As bad as the Canadian coverage is today, at least it isn't as bad as NBC where most of it is tape delayed.

Do the big air scores reset to zero for the final?

This hungarian skier just did a 180 and no other tricks on her halfpipe run. No hint of a fall and she scored a 30.

And Japan shakes hands. Good win for Homan. That should help to get some of the confidence back.

Cassie Sharp followed up her first run score of 93 with a 93.40 in her second run... Highest score of the day.

Homan is now in a 3-way tie for 4th spot with GB and China (the US could also move into a tie with a win in their current game).

They play China, Russia, and GB to finish the round robin, so they certainly control their own fate.

Six riders left in big air, Blouin has qualified, but O'Brien is on the bubble in 11th.
Edit: she qualifies - two Canadians make it.
