Started watching The Expanse. 4 episodes in, super entertaining!
Also finished up the Peripheral this past weekend. Sure hope they renew for season 2.

I'm always annoyed with streaming shows how they end. I watched The Peripheral and checked for a new episode this Thursday. But I guess the previous one was it. Just annoying when you watch a season finale but have no idea that is it. Crave usually flags them, I think.
Great show though. And you are in for a treat with The Expanse.

Yeah, that happened to me with The Boys S3. I was all excited to watch the next episode, got setup with my tea and snacks and sat down only to realize I had finished the Season the previous week. Boooo.
Yeah, it looks really good so far. It's been awhile since I've watched a good set in space type show. Sets all seem well done as well.

Yeah, that's certainly a spoiler with the initial comment not in spoiler tags. I'm just starting season two and I knew exactly who he was referring to, lol. That'll be a bit of a bummer kinda of knowing that info. Ah well, still should be fun to watch, sounds like people really like this season.

I saw somewhere that leading up to the last episode of The Peripheral that it was going to be the season finale. So I was prepared going in knowing it was the season finale. Hoping it gets renewed for season 2

I do not agree.
However, I also do not agree it was better than season 1, simply based on the S1 performance by Murray Bartlett (and the character he played). One of my all-time TV favorites.

I thought both women in the couples arc were quite strong performances. All the various arcs were pretty interesting this time I thought.

Jennifer Coolidge and Aubrey Plaza were nominated for Golden Globes. Inexplicably Fahy was not.

Just finished White Lotus 2, loved it.
I really like the way they tackle topics in very real and subtle ways.
How the Italian son/dad/grandpa look women & relationships for example, just feels very authentic.
Same with the intimacy issues of the married couple, porn addiction etc.
These things are part of the story without being the story and I find it very well written.
