The Shouldice lake provides a nice new view for us residents up in Varsity and users of Dale Hodges park. They should leave the area like that.

Wasn’t there work on this line a few years ago right at the 16th ave river crossing? From what I recall driving by the concrete pipes they were working on looked like they were 12-15ft??? diameter.
I am assuming this is the same system but I’m no expert here

So are car washes actually allowed to remain open? Richmond Rd one open with several people washing their vehicles.

I honestly don't know what measures they normally carry out to evaluate the condition. I'm not even sure if this line is actively pressurized or fed purely by gravity.

Businesses using large volumes of non-essential water, such as laundromats and car washes, are being asked to reduce water use

This moves forward toward my Lex Luthor plan of flooding Bowness and Montgomery into a lake so I can have waterfront property.

You have my support on this endeavor. A dam right below the Foothills Hospital across Edworthy Park would be ideal. We get a sweet lake, a much needed reservoir and they can finally create the Shaganappi extension to the SW.
