Default Jackets Pasta point of no return. Can we Kope? 23/24 1sts shipped out.

To Calgary

CMB 1st 2023
CMB 2nd 2024
Cam York

To Columbus

David Pastrnak
3 M in Spicy Gouda.

—-> Had some interesting offers for the pick but if I was going to move it would be for a star player. Getting cheese space is important as it allows us to spend some more dough to shore up the roster and to make the pick worse. This deal relies on that 2023 1st being mid to late.

Thanks Ravi, and others, for the offers/negotiations.

----------

To NJ

2024 1st CMB
Jacob Bernard - Docker
Sammy Blais

To Columbus

Anze Kopitar
Kailer Yamamoto
Sean Behrens
Mattias Havelid

Condition: if Havelid is a 1st round pick in the draft then CLB owes NJ a 3rd in 2023.

---> Cap relief for NJ and It allows us to build up. Everyone and their dog is tanking. We see an opening to make the playoffs while still retaining some franchise value. Behrens and Havelid are enigmas and could boom or bust. Yamamoto provides some hedge against Kopitar being on a one year deal. Thanks to Pat for the deal

Really good trade discussion. Deal came pretty quickly thanks to Discord (everyone should join).

Like Knut said, this deal gives me a ton of cap flexibility with UFA around the corner.

Those are some big deals for CBJ franchise. Ravi and Pat are hoping that the CBJ picks are in the top 5 range like they have been. Let's see what Hesla can pull off.

Essentially the new skype but better. Mobile messenger.

The deal I made with Pat had about 15 different iterations over an hour with many times it looking like a deal would not get done.

PM on Calgarypuck would have made it a week long process and likely would have ended up at an impasse.

For Ravi's deal i just booked a phone consult with his office. He was able to bill health care for the trade talks (I kid AHS).

We should start using that discord chat again too

There was one sent to the league and I wanna say 6-8 of us joined but it hasn’t been used in at least a year

I hated discord but I'm in another league where it's mandatory so I just got used to it.

Who remembers MSN messenger?! Those were the days! I think I averaged 5 trades a day using that thing.

WhatsApp is pretty easy. So is PM. Doesn't restrict my ability to trade

I don't need another communication tool to deal with.

Yeah that's me too. My day is already highly disruptive. I can't add another thing to the equation.

^ CP is not bad when the person is online enough. The problem is when you are 24+ hrs between responses.

You can also find me on WhatsApp if needed.

never had an issue dealing via PM, I actually like it a lot this way. Nothing wrong with taking your time, reading up on players and stuff like that. Haven't had any issues with response times either for a while, this offseason has especially been a ton of fun for me with regards to talking trade.

I went on it last year for a week and then stopped.

So I have a username, but I never go on.
