Sharks land their new #1 goalie marking the end of the Robin Lehner era.

My pivot in decision really screwed me over. I was going to make bids on Driedger and Erik Johnson. Would have won both bids.

Detroit pretty much picked up their whole team in the first batch, looks like.

Would it be possible to see by how much were the winning bids higher than the runner up?

The runner-up bid for Murphy was actually me: 3x2.53.

Ok with not landing any of these players, lots of overpays.

Especially Driedger. Could have gotten him for 0.5 x 3 as well.

Happy to add Ekholm as he was our #1 target this batch. Our top 4 is now solidified with Makar, Doughty, Ekholm and Provorov. Was hoping to add some forwards but was unable to strike a deal.

Detroit really came away with a nice haul. Overall I think most contracts were fair, Toffoli probably overpaid.

Woo-hoo! Glad we got our forwards! Giroux and Duchenne are two guys I really wanted and was hoping to just get one of Atkinson or Granland. Really glad to get Murphy too! Johnson was just a lowball offer so happy to get him. Looking forward to the season starting!

Leafs are pumped to add Perron, who is criminally underrated. Didn't expect to land both goalies so if anyone needs Allen, I'm not looking for much in return.

The Kings had some big holes on defense, and probably overbid a little in order to land at least one. Happy to get Fowler and McDonagh to balance out the D this year. Hoping for a little longevity from both of them over the course of the contracts.

Took a gamble on a super low offer on Price. If he starts the season he will be on a great contract next season. Huge risk he never plays again, but at that contract we took the risk.

We wanted a D. Made a good attempt on Fowler and came up short and sent a low ball to Mcdonagh.

Ducks bid on 3 players. We didn't expect to win in Batch 1....we just don't have the cap space.

Overall, some reasonable contracts. GM's did a solid job adding assets that are still on movable contracts, well done to those successful.

After I saw only 1 bid, I had to do a quick search to see if I missed Muzzin's retirement

Should have googled “Leafs”. That would answer your question.

I was going to bid on him but ended up giving his money to Johnson.
