Ed Jovanovski for 2 years at the end of his career
Barkov is one of my favourite players outside of the Flames. He does everything and seems very humble. I am sure this will be a great decision by the Panthers.

You can’t get away from it. I’m in Budapest on vacay and I overheard some dude at another table bragging on Tavares to some uninterested Euro at breakfast.

Canes with a little dig by referencing Dougie not joining his teammates here at Moxies.

I don't get too riled up about hockey anymore, but man, this pisses me off something fierce. Absolutely no honor.

How many times is this now that Domi has either jumped a guy early or just flat-out suckered him? Useless plug. The only good thing he'll ever do in his career is whoop Kesler's ass.

I always hated Tie Domi, he was a grade a cheap shot artist. I hated his son purely by association. Now I hate him because he also is a cheap shot artist.

This is what disturbs me the most, concussions are scary business. Not only does Ekblad have nothing to prove in a pre-season game, but he has no business getting into fights at all with his head injury problems.

I know Ekblad isn't a fighter but if I'm in his position there I take that opportunity to lay a lickin' on a guy 30 lbs lighter and way less reach. I know Max is decent scrapper and all but still.

Sucks to see a great young dman get suckered like that.

Really? In a meaningless preseason game (that the panthers were winning) and he has a bad concussion history and Ekblad is a 24 minute D and the other guy is a tool trying to be a tough guy. There's really no reason for Ekblad to entertain Domi there 30 lbs advantage or not.

Has anyone been following former Flames Dougie Hamilton and Micheal Ferland? I am watching the Hurricanes v. Washington now, and Hamilton is playing, but I have noticed that Ferland has appeared in only one pre-season game. Is he injured?

Yes he is. I seem to remember hearing he sustained a lower body injury in the game he scored.

Leafs offense living up to the hype so far this preseason.

The problem is they have only been playing trash teams. I wonder how they will look against a non-lottery team. But still. scoring goals at this rate is impressive no matter the competition.
