Sounds like a fast, hard checking bruiser with some offensive skill. I hope he continues to improve his game in Abbotsford next year.

I love how this guy seems to put his game into the next level in the playoffs.

Had an idea!
I would be thrilled if he could step into the big club next year. We are solely lacking in fast hard checkers on this team.

I think Bouma could develop really well with us. If he finds a role on next years team I'll be thrilled.

He might turn out to be our version of Clutterbuck, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

If the Heat win on Tuesday and move on to the next round, do they call Bouma up? I think he's signed.

he's not on the Clear Day Roster, so he can only play if an "emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension."

Had an idea!
So, they have moved on to the 2nd round. He should be able to get in some practices with the team and play, right?

Article mentions Lance
Quote:
One big change this season will be who isn't on Gallagher's line. Intimidating forward Lance Bouma, a third-round pick of the Calgary Flames in 2008, is beginning his professional career. He was always around to protect Gallagher. "
Lance is one of a kind," said Gallagher, who finished with 81 points and 111 penalty minutes last regular season. "I don't think we're replacing him."
