I don't get the love for this.
Obviously it is popular though, and I could ignore it.

I could live with that as the crest but only on a black jersey. All they need to do is take the horsehead black jerseys and put a new crest on it and they instantly have the nicest Flames jerseys outside of the retros. This team doesn't need another red jersey and black > yellow.

I'm probably in the minority who would like to see the Flames wear a black jersey with either a red or white flaming "C". Since black and orange are the alternative Flames colours, and there is too much orange in the league, thanks to our neighbours to the north. I think a third jersey should be of an alternate colour, not red or white. That being said, I do like our "retro" jerseys as well.

It will be like the recently updated uniforms: nothing like what is posted here!

Retro's home & away full time or bust, new alternate. Anything else is a complete failure. Ken King please read!

The dominant colour on a Flames uniform, was originally, and should always be, red.

Not expecting much of anything. Either it'll be the retros again (which is fine) or a mediocre design that still doesn't fit the style most fans are seeking in a new jersey.

If you're not a particular fan of the retros I could see the fatigue with them and a desire for a fresh third. But judging by how much heat it sounds like KK took for not making it our official new jerseys before this season, I'm pretty confident the retro red will be the third.
If anything it's our main kits that have fatigue attached. I understand there's been tweaks to it, first in 07, now again in 17 with the Adidas addition. But we've essentially been wearing the same unis for 15 years now, I'm so bored of those. Black isn't even a cool colour right now like it was back in 03, which gives it a dated look. Time for a change (which I know won't happen anytime soon, the jersey sponsor switch was the perfect time).

Might see the flip to Retros as primaries, and a Black C version as the third. Would be too easy.

You'd think so for any other NHL club. This is the Flames we're talking about. KK probably is resurrecting the script 3rd.

As you all know, I’m a big proponent of the Flames going retro for their home and away jerseys. Having said that, I do really appreciate teams with unique 3rd jerseys that stand out and grab your attention.
We are the C of Red, but we’re also an oil and gas town. So like natural gas, let’s burn blue, too.
This is obviously a rough concept but I think this has some serious potential.

Nope. No blue allowed as a main color on the uniforms.

I don't think I've ever seen a mock-up of it, but I've always wanted to see the old '89-era trainers/assistant coach sweaters done up as a jersey. I think it would be gorgeous.
Also, if anyone happens to own one of those things, from the 80's/90's, in good condition, in a large I'll pay you like $300 for it.

I've got one stashed away. Can't remember if it is a Medium or a Large.
