I can assure you that it also happens to forgotten cans in the camper and the unheated uninsulated garage. Can a 12-pack all go boom inside one cabinet a couple years back, only discovered it in the spring. It was bizarre at first because all the cans were split down the seam, each head hanging on by a thread, and zero liquid anywhere (it had both evaporated by then and/or run out the back onto the floor).

This also happens when you want to quickly chill a can of pop in the freezer and then get distracted and forget it.

It's Chinese New Year and it's Ip Man! I wouldn't pick a fight with these guys.
IPMan ..More like plastic man! So much plastic surgery. China is quickly becoming the new Korea.
I'm forced to watch this every New Year. It's so painful. So to entertain myself it's basically 4 hours of me making sarcastic comments.
The highlight for me is when the robot gave everyone the finger a little after the 4:20 mark. Robot revolution soon? I was freaking out. "Did you see that? The robot gave the cameraman the finger?!?!" Chinese people watching just no fun. They didn't appreciate my wit.
4:20 mark to see for yourself.
Also about 10 seconds after the robot finger the guy keeps doing that Ross thing from friends.

I can assure you this is also what happened in the 80's when pop still came in 1L glass bottles and you forgot them in the deep freeze.
I still remember the cleanup.
