The funny thing is he probably mangled the grammar of the post to make it fit within Twitter's character limit. He could have made it a coherent post by removing all the unnecessary "flowery" prose.

Better than having a snarly interior, which is usually the product of too much whiskey or too many suicide wings.

There's an old saying that a lot of writers should remember: ‘Lilies that fester smell worse than weeds.’

Puljujarvi and a high pick for Edmundson? Great deal Edmonton, pull the trigger

"Edmondson for a 2nd or 3rd, Bourgault and Puljarvvi"

When you can't spell the names correctly you know it's a great deal for Edmonton. Get it done before it's off the table.

It's probably not as far off as you think. Puljujarvi has not helped his cause and likely has negative value with his contract value now. GM's know that the Oilers have to shed guys like this to make deals and there are no bargains to take on cap dumps as Flames fans know all too well.

So the 2nd/3rd would be attached to move Puljujarvi, and Bourgault for Edmundson.

Lavoie is a 22 year old centre struggling with a single goal in the AHL.

Bougault is a 20 year old centre, a former first rounder, who is finding his way in his first year in the AHL.

These are not equivalent parts. Bougault is a decent prospect with value. I'm not sure Lavoie is even an NHL prospect anymore.

Lavoie was a 2nd round Oiler pick so he lost NHL prospect status on draft day.

My guess is that Oilers' media think the GM's around the league believe their ridiculous takes as much as Oilers fans do.

I think it would be an overpayment by the Oilers but it's really not that huge value. If they subbed in Lavoie for Bourgault you could make a case, they are giving 1 good pick and a bunch of slop.

There is a realistic chance the Puljujarvi is in "not getting a QO next summer" territory as well. Lavoie need to clear waivers? Another player that could be just a name on paper that looks better than it is. Only good news is he would clear waivers

Nice to see McDavid on the ice for four goals against Washington. One was his shorthanded goal. The other three were goals against.

The first Washington goal Drasaitl should have gotten an assist. He made a beautiful soft pass into the slot to set up the Washington goal.

On the Washington PowerPlay goal, the announcer points out that McDavid and two other Oilers were in "nowhere land".

McDavid sure has a lot of bad games for the best player in hockey.

Draisaitl sure turns over the puck a lot for a Selke candidate.

The Oil always seem to need band-aid type fixes. Now, I am seeing that Kevin Weeks, and NHL Network analyst is touting that the Oil need to go get Max Domi, to replace Kane in their lineup. https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl...194236639.html

Two questions, then, about this proposed move. 1. Just what do these jokers have to trade back? It is not like magical fan base trades. Do they have a reasonable asset to win the bidding war, that Domi seems to be generating, as the trade deadline gets closer? 2. What will they do when Kane returns, especially if Domi is as productive for them as he has been with P. Kane (who has a habit of elevating line-mate performances)? I would hope a toxic meltdown, from the guy, who has had a history of toxic meltdowns.

Oh, well...Oilers gonna Oil.

^ the NHL let SJ cancel a contract to help the Oil. And that guy got hurt

I suspect that in order to take on Domi, the Oil would receive some bizarre unprecedented extra cap relief and a compensatory draft pick
