the Sanders hire is fantastic for Colorado. They are a bit of a sleeping giant program imo. They have excellent facilities and they will have modest expectations to start, giving Sanders some time to get his players installed.

It's something the bowls (collectively) are going to have to figure out how to deal with. Hard to stop players from opting out but now with NIL/compensation allowed maybe there is a way to financially incentivize players to participate. Maybe 'career insurance' so compensate for expected earnings in the NFL if they sustain an injury or something similar.
I'm not laughing at all about this. Bowl season is one of my favorite times of the year, it sucks when the games are neutered by opt outs.
