I was shocked when I saw how much the lab situation has deteriorated since I used it last. Same thing for me, labs were looking several months out for the next appointment. If you have time keep checking back for cancellations. I snagged one two days out at a lab that is close to home the other day. Or if you are flexible try a rural lab, those were showing literally next day availability for many of them.

This is just privatization saving us from the evils of public services. Doesn't it make you happy for all the tax dollars we "saved"?

Yeah, if I'm renting a car in Hawaii, it's a convertible of some sort at the very least if not a Mustang.

I wonder how much it broke the painter to spend all that time taping out flame lines on a PT Cruiser

This is it. This is the single coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire life and I can die happy now that I have witnessed divine perfection.

I really dislike how 95% of flame jobs are those C shapes. They look so boring and cookie cutter.

Mercifully, most of those have succumbed to the #1 killer of Chrysler vehicles: rust.

Or the innards of the engine/transmission turning into a pile of rubble.

I hate how the freeze dried marshmallows in hot chocolate mix completely dissolve before you can enjoy them. Are they even freeze-dried marshmallows? What are these things?

Someone gave us a couple of those hot chocolate “bombs” and I had this same disappointment when I tried one. Poured on the hot water…. Cool marshmallows!!!…. dissolved before I could walk the mug over to show my wife.

It’s weird cause I have tossed real mini-marshmallows into hot chocolate and they survive. Maybe it was because they were old and developed that protective patina.

Hot chocolate bombs are very much to be enjoyed 'in the moment'.

Failing that, you could always Instagram your entire life so you'll get to share your hot chocolate bomb with everyone.

You’re supposed to sift them out and eat them while you’re waiting for the water to boil.

No way. It's too hot. I've owned two convertibles and have loved them, but I keep the top up on hot days when the sun is beating down. Hawaii is too hot for them imo. Where convertibles rule is on a warm evening (sun is down) or cloudy day. ####in sun sucks. And in Hawaii we get worn out doing day stuff that we don't really go out at night (driving, anyway).

Made that mistake once in Vegas. Grabbed a Mustang convertible from the aisle and put the top down and drove out of the parking garage. We drove about 10 minutes to the store to grab some toiletries and had to put the top up and run the AC instead of enjoying open air motoring.

Trip Advisor can p*** off. Recently visited Joshua Tree National Park and bought a self-guided audio tour (excellent) and they’re bombarding me with pleas to submit a review through their form. They require a minimum word count. My review is a bit short so I pad it. Next page asks for an explanation of my review. My review was self-explanatory but they require more words. I gave up.

Depends when you go.

Rented a Mustang convertable in Waikiki in late April a couple years ago and it was a blast driving around the island with the top down for a week.

Only had to put it up when it briefly rained.

Yeah, I rocked a convertible the whole time in Hawaii (April), Los Angeles (May), and Vegas (May) and it was fantastic. I'm a sun baby.
