wranglers Brandon Astle announced as the new Heat PBP voice

Former voice of the Langley Rivermen. Here's his Twitter page: https://twitter.com/brandon_astle

You can't say he's not enthusiastic on the mic hahaha:

Well, at least he'll make the games seem more interesting.

Brandon is a really good guy. Can't say I've listened to much of his work but I've met him a few times, he's a go getter and is quickly working his way up. Young kid, now doing play by play for a pro team, good for him.

God that clip makes me wish for AHL games on TV even more. His voice is shrill like a kid that hasn't gone through puberty yet and the way he went on for so long about the goal was IMO busch league. I really hope he tunes it down a few notches

It was definitely an off moment for him, I'm sure. Personally I like the enthusiasm haha.

Enthusiasm is fantastic, but sounding like you just hit puberty and practically having a 1 man circle jerk over a goal is something totally different.Call me crazy but there is no way the play by play guy should be celebrating harder and longer than the players
