Default Meteorite!

Came down late last night, around 11:00 - 11:15 PM MST or thereabouts. Reports of hits near Castlegar, BC and Bonner's Ferry in Idaho. Probably be on the morning news. I believe Global reported on it but I missed the 11 PM news so I don't know if it was on that newscast or they just reported it on their website.

Video I found on FB.

We saw this driving in north calgary last night at 11:11, it was unreal. Huge flash in the sky then a very prominent streak clearly burning up. Very surreal.

Was going to post this last night.

We are in New Denver right now and happened to be looking up at the sky when we saw the meteorite.

It was spectacular...started as a green tail then became more pronounced and larger.

One of the most amazing things I have ever seen.

I was lucky enough to see it too.

Was driving westbound on Glenmore at about Barlow Trail SE. Thought it was huge lightning at first until I saw the meteor. It was pretty neat! Lit up the whole sky orange.

The sky over Castlegar was completely blue before it landed. It was something else that's for sure! Excited I got to see it.

Keep an eye out for any heroic feats near Castlegar over the next few years.

Cool story on the morning news. I missed it because I was in bed by then would have loved to see it.

I saw it too driving north on Deerfoot. Amazingly bright, I thought it was fireworks for a second.

I think it's L.Ron Hubbard smiting the heathons from his colonial spaceship. I think that's how they work. Someone want to chime in here and refute the science?

I don't buy your theory because it would look more like a DC-8 crashing

Its clearly Xenu's revenge. He smites the non-believers!

I dare anyone here to admit they don't enjoy a good smiting from time to time.
