Feels more wild west than ever with players seeking their own trade arrangements and such. 2018 draft wasnt even that long ago.
I think he's an interesting player, similar mold to Buchenvich. Not sure what his value would be though.

doubt he'll be traded as I really can't see the probable return being worth it for the Rangers.
would any team offer more than a 3rd for this guy?

Anything is better if the Rangers have decided he isn't a fit and they might just be doing him a favour. Kind of like Kulak and Vladar.

Big kid. Only 4 points in 20 games in his rookie season last year. The Russia factor to consider, if he's disgruntled about playing time already.

New York is lucky they get pretty much any FA they want and unlimited college talent draw, as otherwise they blow their first round draft picks pretty easily. Lias Andersson another top 10 pick that was shipped out quickly. Going back further, JT Miller wasn't given much of a leash there either.

Kravtsov on the third line with Dube and Backlund would do wonders. I don’t see him coming here though.

I wouldn't offer more than a 2nd. Perhaps the Sam 2nd.

Last year it's the 2017 7th overall that wanted out of NY
This year it's the 2018 8th overall that wants out of NY
Next year it's the 2019 2nd overall Kakko's turn?

Panthers seem to be collecting underperforming players lately.

Not sure why we'd even offer a 2nd for a guy who won't report if he doesn't make the NHL.

The Flames did not draft a first rounder in 2018 so this could help add an age need piece for the team but with Sutter as coach I don’t see a guaranteed NHL spot being spoon fed to a 21 year old who can’t crack the Rangers.
