Good performance by Koskinen again. Not enough shots generated by the team though. Especially since they were trailing. Might make a few lineup changes for next game.

Swayman might be stealing the starting goaltending job from Freddie. He just wins games.

Detroit gets their first PP goal of the season and the PK remains perfect at 17 for 17. I fully expect them to allow multiple PP goals next game but I'm enjoying the ride while it lasts.

Very lucky to escape with a win in this one as Lehner stopped 48/50 shots! He was the difference. Looks like the top 2 lines cancelled each other out which was my goal in this one because he has the better 1-2 punch with Matthews and Daddy Mac.

My D continue to put up points, the 2nd line pairing of OEL-Keith have been very strong.

4-1-1 to start the year with THE Duncan Keith leading my team in scoring...no one saw that coming!

3 Stars
1 - Robin Lehner (SAN)
2 - Duncan Keith (SAN)
3 - Jesper Fast (SAN)

Jesus I think that's three consecutive shootout losses for us? Weird.

All four of the Kings wins have been through shootout or overtime. The loss a tight one. Sutter years.

Lost two defensemen thanks to the dirty play of the Wild. Brodie for a month. Poolman for a week or more.

Thanks a lot ya bastard.

This season is going to be ummmm grim. Might trigger the trade everyone mantra pretty quick.

.
The Wild have put 2 players to the sidelines in each of our last 3 games. Dallas lost 4 in total in our 2 game set.
It's weird.

To be clear, Barkov and Ristolainen were both suspended. The scoresheets says it was for some kind of fight but we all know it was because they accused Wild GM Farhall of drafting poorly and talking with a fake and very condescending accent (you know the kind...).

Either way. Dirty bunch, those Wild are.

Somehow this team keeps finding ways to get points, even if they are loser points.
Back up Goalie Alex Stalock steals a SO point in this one and the Pens remain undefeated on the year.

When the Rangers beat us 2 days ago, I didn't even care. It was our 3rd game in 3 days and our exhausted group was shuffled around to cater to the fatigue.

I was excited to see the team rebound and beat the Rangers in our next game.

Boy was I wrong.
We scored 4 goals but Vas laid a fat stinking egg, letting in 5 goals on just 20 shots and got chased from the net.

Pretty abysmal start for the Flyers this year but we're hoping things will turn around sooner than later.
