Married with children reboot / spinoff?

The long-rumored follow-up to Married… with Children is still in the works, according to David Faustino, who played Bud on the hit sitcom. The actor broke the news to E! that he is developing a “spin-off” of the series.
“Sony has it. They’re excited about it,” Faustino told E! at the premiere of former TV sister Christina Applegate’s new comedy Vacation. “They’re working out some legal issues that we hope they work out.” No network is attached to the potential show at this time.
If it were to happen, however, the pilot could serve as a reunion for the original Bundy clan. “The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it,” Faustino said. “The idea would be a pilot for a spin-off. That’s all I can say right now. It involves me and few other people.”
The main cast is still acting regularly, all with the exception of "Bud".

Bud has been doing acting as well. Not sure what else but he had a few appearances in Entourage as himself.

I know he's done some voice work in cartoons and video games.
But, he's no where as busy or successful as the other 3 "family" members.

The things that made the show so edgy back then as the king of Trash TV are pretty common now.

All I remember is the flushing toilet noise. Was that a thing? I'm pretty sure that was a thing.

I believe that was the first time on television that a toilet flushing sound was used. Very shocking at the time.
**Any die-hard fans remember the brand of toilet the Bundy's had?

It was the Ferguson
Wasn't there a story in an episode where Al's dad made him hold his poop on a long road trip and when he finally got to go it was on a Ferguson?

No. All in the Family did it long before Married...

In one episode he told the story of his Dad taking him on a road trip to the Ferguson factory in Maine. Al had to go to the bathroom and begged his Dad to stop at a truckstop. He said no, wait until we get there, it will be worth it. And it was.

Leave it to Beaver was the first show to actually show a toilet. Quite the controversy in those days to the point the network delayed showing the episode because they were so worried about it.
All in the Family also had Edith's menopause, among other things. Shocking!

How dare you say that to my face???
Well I'd have said it behind your back but my car's only got a half a tank of gas!
Ah, to actually have the nads to say that to someone.
