Horrible people seem to be all the rage lately and this show doesn't disappoint in that department. Two horrible sardonic people who are completely self-involved decide to enter into a relationship. The first episode was funny, however, I'm not sure this show will last. The characters might be too unlikeable.

Dude, you've started like 20 of these, you're clogging up the first couple of pages.

Go mall cop some place else. This is the food and entertainment forum. You should watch the show because you relate well to the main character.

How about letting TV series discussion threads originate organically instead of making one for every new show in a template format? Why not wait and watch a few episodes to see if it's good, thus starting a thread to recommend it

How about letting people know about the new shows that come out so they can find out about them before they disappear or get cancelled. No need for people to nit-pick here. There are many shows that open these are the ones I watch and ones with a budget and planning that should get some attention. Also they are not mainstream network shows like NBC or CBS, but specialty channels, especially here in Canada. I'm giving them that attention.

That's the thing, if they disappear quickly, I doubt anyone wants to know about them.

CP, the ratings booster, saves another show?

Can anyone think of a great show (liked by critics and viewers) that was cancelled after one season because of low ratings?
Genuinely curious.

In before Firefly
granted, I think Firefly has become pretty overrated in the time since. Fillion could have likely carried that show though ... he's carried Castle to a life way longer than I would have expected.

Rubicon was definitely cancelled too early, yeah. They axed that quick and gave that disaster The Killing like nine lives.

Yeah, had I thought about that at least Freaks and Geeks should have popped into my head.
Never heard of Terriers or The Beast, but Awake? ugh.
That premise was awesome. First episode: great. By the third or fourth episode it wasn't good and got worse. Glad it got cancelled.

Season 2 premier was classic. Started where a great first season left off.
My favourite new show on television last year. Really excellent stuff.

Wow. Episode 2.02 - you're the worst.
Please don't judge this excellent series by that episode.
