Nope, the trade went through because Nash had the pick on his site, and now it is on mine. Thats what I mean, I think it must have been an issue to start with. Colrado never had the pick on his site, I checked in advance, and I checked for previous deals, nada.

This is no listing of pick 73 being drafted to Colorado
There is no listing of pick 73 being trade to Nashville
There is no listing that pick 73 being traded back to LA
The pick is currently on LA's roster just like I did the original list from, there is no history of how Colorado traded above and how it moved off Nashville roster.
If the trade I quote hasn't been reported in this thread how many others haven't been, we are running into problems on every trade now
I haven't made mistakes... picks are being traded and not reported

So there are two issues here
- 73 went from LA to Colorado somehow and was not reported here
- 73 went from Colorado to Nashville in a deal that we know of but was not reported here

The trades as completed using the website have never identified the correct picks. A previous trade has included Chicago's 3rd round pick in 2021. I have not traded that pick.
For some reason the CPHL site randomly selects a team's pick when included in a trade. The GMs have been doing a good job of identifying traded picks as long as you ignore the 'sim created' trade details as the round of the draft pick is correct, but often the team associated with that pick is not.

So then the question becomes which pick did Colorado trade to Nashville? That's still something that has to be reported in here.
Colorado only has one third in the current op, pick 80, but I'm sure you don't want to operate on guesswork Doug. Can Swayze or cambam confirm it was pick 80 involved in this trade, not 73?

This is what I am talking about. The picks in this deal have randomly identified teams associated with the draft picks. The sim has never correctly identified the team associated with the pick. That's why GMs have to identify the number of the draft pick and not the team.

I think that ties back to what Tilley was saying, Hanna — that is an incorrectly attributed pick that the website has randomly generated as being Dallas' pick. I 100% own pick 51, I got it from Toronto in the Pietrangelo deal.
The second round pick that Nashville traded for McAvoy was pick 53.
When it comes to identifying picks, the website's past trades feature is not trustworthy and should not be relied upon as a source. What MUST happen is everyone must report all of their own pick transactions in this very trustworthy thread.

To further address another piece of confusion above.
Pick 73 has never been traded, it remains with LA.
Colorado traded a 2020 3rd to Nashville. Neither GM reported that move here. It is of the utmost importance for GMs to know the exact pick number they are trading in every single deal and to report it here with both the team the pick is coming from and going to.
In the case of the Brodie/Gardiner trade I believe the pick in question was pick 80, but I am not sure, nor am I sure of who that pick belongs to now.

So an overview:
51 - NEW YORK ISLANDERS (Montreal to Toronto to Islanders)
53 - MONTREAL (Nashville to Montreal)
73 - LOS ANGELES (no changes)
80 - PITTSBURGH (Colorado to Nashville to Pittsburgh)

The source of record for these thing should be
1. What shows on each GM's team page. The picks are correct there. That's why I'm not rolling over the site yet, as once we do - we lose that verification point
2. What Doug has listed and is maintaining in this thread.
The email versions of trades are indeed screwed up. It's a long standing problem that I think dates back to things getting borked when we expanded.
So everything should be verified from the team pages.

I've made the two corrections. Later tonight I'll start the process of going through each team and checking to see if there was any other picks moved that weren't reported
