sounds like a 3rd in the regular draft and a 4th in the global draft.
Said to see Eric and Law leave, Daniels could be a loss.

So the Argos have cut Matt Nichols rather than pay him a substantial roster bonus that would have been due Feb 1. Arbuckle is also due a roster bonus in Feb 1, and apparently has yet to renegotiate his deal like some other QB’s around the league have done. Could be an interesting 24 hours...

I think it's pretty clear that the Argos are setting aside some cash to sign Rogers and Law. Who is going to be their QB in 2021 though? They no longer have the Lawfirm.

I wonder if the Stamps are going after Bryan Burnham, sounds like he's heading towards the open market.
Mitchell Burnham would be a deadly combo to have.

Charleston Hughes also appears to be testing the free agent market. The Sackmaster's age is a little concerning, but he still appears to be a big difference maker.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather have Arbuckle than Nichols under centre.

It would be interesting to see Hughes back in the fold.

This is quite interesting.
Stamps traded Arbuckle to Ott, with first round swap being the result if he re-signed.
He signed. Swap happened.
Stamps got the 1st overall. Traded down to get an earlier 2nd round pick.
Season cancelled.
Arbuckle released and never played a snap for Ott.
He moves on to Toronto now.
End Result:
Ottawa has Adam Auclair.
Calgary has Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund, Trivel Pinto and Rysen John (he signed a futures contract with NFL Giants).
BC has Jordan Wililams and Nathan Rourke.
Will be interesting how these careers play out.

I dont think thats Crazy at all. Arbuckle is a much better QB than Nichols.
Hamilton is loaded.
Toronto adding all ex Stamps (Rogers, Law, Daniels, Brescasin, Arbuckle, Richardson)
Montreal looked decent with Vernon Adams and Khari as HC.
Will be a long year in Ottawa if the season starts up. Ottawa's expansion run is over. Might be another couple of years before they start talking about eliminating them again.

I still appreciated the part about it changing him, but still so much circling around ideas without nailing anything down or going into a single specific. Loved the guy, though, and so happy to see him succeed down south,

Argos now working a deal to sign Arbuckle. Would reunite him with their Head Coach, Ryan Dinwiddie.
Only in the CFL!

Huff better have something on the boil as the Stamps receiver situation looks pretty bleak. Bo's 30 years old and you don't want to start wasting his prime years by not providing him with weapons.

I think pretty bleak is overstating things a tad EE, aside from Rogers (which I grant is a big loss) and Klukas, I think all the other receivers have been extended. Excited to see how former UBC receiver Trivel Pinto will pan out and Huf will weave his magic as usual and find a hidden gem somewhere.

The Stamps are without their top two receivers of the 2019 season. If a one-legged Kamar Jorden is your #1 WR I would call that pretty bleak. Burnham is a game changer at WR and he's out there so I don't understand why you wouldn't want to provide your franchise QB with an elite target.
