The Jays and Raptors get way too much recognition IMO as they’re not Canadian Athletes, and of course represent a city. Knowing that most of the players couldn’t name a provincial capital or find Alberta in a map should disqualify them. My personal list.

1. 2010 Double Gold men’s and women’s hockey
2. 2002 Double Gold men’s and women’s hockey
3. Summit Series
4. 87 Canada Cup
5. 2014 Double Gold men’s and women’s hockey
6. Mike Weir Masters Win
7. Bianca Andreescu US Open
8. Donovan Bailey 100m and the 4x100 relay double gold 1996
9. Jays win Back to Back World Series
10. Raptors win NBA Championship

One of my favourites in recent memory was the “miracle on grass” where Canada defeated New Zealand, England, and the USA to win the 2017 Singapore Rugby Sevens. One of the most surprising wins in Canadian history and will likely never happen again.

Whoa, whoa, the raptors had a "Canadian". He played four minutes in two games during their championship run!
Honestly still pissed about the whole thing last year. The worst part was the fans cheering Kevin Durant's potentially career ending injury.
Wait, no the worst part was probably the four people shot during the parade.

Ben Johnson is still the moment watching live. Dont care about the aftermath.

I also love Simon Whitfields gold in Sydney.

Brooke Henderson

Winner of 9 LPGA tour victories.

Henderson’s 2018 victory in the CP Women’s Open at the Wascana Country Club in Regina made her the first Canadian to win an LPGA Tour event on home soil since Jocelyne Bourassa won what was then called La Canadienne in suburban Montreal in 1973.

Bailey vs. Johnson was a pretty big ticket at the time.

Might just be me but I don’t really find any hockey related win to be impressive. The other things like Bailey and Weir are much more impressive.

Surin raising his arms after passing the baton to Bailey was an incredible moment.
Weir winning the Masters definitely deserves a spot.

And Ben Johnson beating Carl Lewis was euphoric. Sigh....

I was in elementary school when they announced over the intercom that Calgary had been awarded the Winter olympics. That was super cool.
