What kind of west coast imposter are you? You're supposed to be wearing Blundstones dude.
I will never wear Blundstones for exactly this reason. I actually think I have a pair kicking around that I will wear when it is absolute #### outside.
My mom watches the bachelorette and sent me this pic from Twitter asking if this is how men dress now. Lol. I said no but I’m hardly an expert. I can’t get over how hilarious it looks. Flood pants in style. 9 year old me who refused to get rid of that fave pair of sweatpants would’ve been thrilled.

I think his pants are a bit bunched up around the knee accentuating the gap, but it looks pretty big. Also, no-show socks and monk straps? that's a take

If his pants are bunched up around his knees then his pants don't fit.

To me it just looks like someone trying to get in on a trend that was in no way designed for his body type. He looks like a large athletic man crammed into pants designed for a very thin person.
I'm not a huge fan of that ankle exposure look, but it looks especially bad in a shoe with a significant heal. The slightly higher pant leg came into fashion, when people were exposing their socks, which looks good if not overdone. With the bare skin it's weird. With a shoe with a heal and straps, it's even weirder.

What I really need is a personal stylist/shopper. Would solve a lot of these issues and unknowns. Also, I’m lazy.
I did this with a friend... gave her a budget and general needs and she took me shopping. It was awesome, she took me out of my comfort zone and it felt great. A bit weird when she kept telling me how hot I looked (I’m married) but good for the ego. Getting approval from someone other than my wife and the sales person goes along way for wearing clothes confidently.
Just bought a pair of these. Already had the brown ones. Now have the black.
Not exactly summer attire, but whatever.

Generally relaxed and straight is becoming more in-style. The skinny/slim fad is fading, thankfully.
I prefer slim fit to anything else. Straight is great, although I'm not a slim build so i find they dont taper as well.
Skinny fit and relaxed fit are ugly on both extremes. Boot cut pants/jeans should be burned into the sun.
Suit pants should not be as tight as the guy is wearing in the pic. It looks like he skips leg day too much and suit jackets generally shouldn't be slim tight so it looks dumb

Anybody want to dip their toes into some good quality Canadian-made clothing, Reigning Champ is doing a seconds sale for the next 2 days, though I wouldn't be surprised if they sold out earlier. Three items per pack.

AE Players 2.0. Pebble grain, wingtip derby, Dainite sole. Perfect for almost everything.
AE Leiden. Non-storm welted LWB, bit more of a tapered row box than the Players.

I'd look for a slip on loafer type of shoe. Great for casual day and wearing with relatively casual clothes. Good for airport security too. You can spend as much or as little as you want. I blew my brains out on some soft black leather Salvatore Ferragamo's which I love, and glad I own, but not sure I'd recommend doing that.
