P.S. Utopia is actually a decent brand; one of a few good exceptions.

If you know what you're doing and the price to evaluate at, you can't go wrong with Amazon. I go based on usage, not specs. I've had stuff from Winners, Bay, Costco and other places just shred/pill and I've had stuff from those places that were great value too. I don't typically spend more than $50 for a full set of sheets (fitted, straight and often matching pillow covers). I've spent more before and I just didn't really see a huge difference.
Utopia is a good brand, I agree. I also go with the Amazonbasics ones when they drop into the $25 range for Queen/King size. Both brands have lasted me a few years already and are still in very good shape. I also find a water resistant cover is also very useful to have just under the fitted sheets. The sheets seem to feel like they last longer and look newer with one underneath.
Holy cow on those sheets from the Bay! For $250 I'd expect to be able to buy some decent entry level silk sheets, not 800 thread count cotton sheets. I'd rather spend that money on two high quality bamboo topper covers and a pair of decent sheets at $50 a set. I think $250 would be enough for a decade worth of decent sheets for my whole household and I'm not trying to be cheap on that on purpose. I just seriously don't notice a huge difference in sheets between the $40-80 range. $80-120 I can sorta notice maybe some durability differences, but when the $40-80 ones last like 60% as long as the ones twice as expensive or more, I just buy more sheets in different colors and replace accordingly (every 4-6 years or so).
EDIT: OP, what size sheets are you looking for? When I had a queen bed, I just lazily bought king sheets for the "deep fitted" aspect. I never had an issue with the sheets moving around, but if you had a queen bed and used king sheets and they were shifting, something like these maybe could help?

I've never used these personally, but they're basically like suspenders to keep it in place.

These are the ones I still use. I bought two sets in different colors for King and one set in queen. 3 years later, they still look pretty good minus a tiny bit of pilling on one set but not the other set and I bought them for $25 a set for King size and $18 for queen size. I'm actually mad I didn't buy more at those prices when it was discounted plus extra discount on Amazon basics products on Prime day. They feel like average $40-60 sheet sets.
