Their strategy seems to be to just throw a bunch of unrelated and immaterial stuff on the wall and see what sticks.
And I’m sure that at least 20 Republican Senators will use the inane arguments of the defense team as their rationale for acquittal.

Of couse not. Instead they're using the rationale that they think it's unconstitutional to convict a president who no longer holds office, and that the the process has been too "politicized" by the Dems.
At least that's the excuse that sumbags like Graham and Cruz have been using lately.

I read the article. It's classic Fox News reporting of cherry-picking quotes out of a document to make it sound scary or ridiculous, while providing zero context surrounding the quotes or the reasoning behind them.
