Yeah, mission accomplished there, they came across like morons, the Cops weren't getting aggravated or angry or taken a back by their approach. The whole thing smacks like the typical backfire video.

"Look at us posting this online, we're going to be hero's and awesome"

But in reality

"What a couple of idiots". They come off as moronic freemen on the land types.

I just had no idea guys like that were real. They seem like absolute characters from a tv series stereotyping rural Canadians They're the hicks/skids from Letterkenney. I would never accuse them of having enough attention span to figure out what a Freeman on the Land is.

Had a guy like that in a welding class a few years ago.

He went on a rant about refusing to renew his car registration.

Since we like both sports and politics around here...

Beef tenderloin is one of my go to meals for entertaining!

So delicious with a red wine/mushroom hunter gravy I make to go with it and the broccolini and smashed mini potatoes

The absence of barriers for one group, by definition, requires the existence of barriers for another group.

So simply making the claim that white privilege is something you can't feel because it is an "absence" isn't sufficient to make your point. You must also establish what the other barriers are. Ergo, a claim of the existence of "white privilege" is identical to the claim of systemic/institutional racism.

And then you are, as they say, in the weeds.
