It's kinda flown under the radar, but the entertainment value of the NFL has fallen off considerably from the first half of the year. The last few weeks seem to have been plagued with many absolutely awful games. Feels like we're just playing out the string until the playoffs and hoping things pick up again.

We have started to see COVID absences trickle in for weeks now until it hit a bit of critical mass last week. Not having coaches and key players available for practices definitely makes a difference in the on field product. I also think teams were coming out on fire offensively in the first half of the season and defenses have caught up.

Tuesday night games are going to start becoming a thing. It will first be an occasional thing, a couple of weeks a year. Then when the tv ratings show that we can't get enough of the bloodsport, they will make it permanent. It's the same thing that happened with the Thursday night games. There's just too much money out there. It'll be in the new tv deals when they start.

Or the Eagles should fold like the Cincinnati Reds. That graphic was funny.

This is a blowout if Lockett is in the lineup.

Can’t keep a HOF receiver like Kupp locked down with a linebacker. That was silly

I said it already, but if you want to go for a non-Rodgers MVP then Kupp should be the guy more than Taylor.

Eagles have been getting away with a lot of blatant holds tonight.

Refball out in full force in Seattle. I cannot believe people bet on this sport when it’s so blatantly rigged.

bad call for sure but Seahawks are not good, reffing is not the reason they have lost 9 games

It was two bad calls, first the Hawks stopped them on third down and the Rams were gifted a first down leading to the TD that made it 17-10, and then that missed PI call that would have kept their drive alive. Basically it was a complete referee-driven victory for the Rams.

The refs are definitely not the reason Seattle has lost 9 games. But they were absolutely the reason they lost tonight.

The refs have been horrible all season. It's not because the NFL is fixed. It's because their officials are incompetent.
