Watched Bombshell OnDemand last night. Well acted, very topical and keeps you glued to the screen.
But left me wanting more. I think the film wanted to say more about Megyn Kelly but perhaps because of a lack of supporting facts or simply fear of being sued, it couldn’t quite bring itself to do it.
Finally saw Knives Out, which was fantastic, and clearly the most fun that Daniel Craig has ever had.

One of my favorite films of all time. If it were a worse movie, it would be a guilty pleasure, but in fact it stands up pretty well.
Christopher Walken and Larry Fishburne chew scenery like nobody's business. Supporting cast of David Caruso, Victor Argo, Wesley Snipes, Giancarlo Esposito... even Buscemi makes an appearance. And Abel Ferrara is a bonefide nutjob of a director.
Unrelenting 90s gangster vibe though, so you have to buy in.

I watched this for Chris Evans, but Daniel Craig was the best part of this movie. His accent was fantastic. I mean, I don't know too many (or any) people who have that Louisiana drawl, but I'd say he nailed it.
My only real complaint about the movie was:
Spoiler!
that Marta would puke every time she lied. Just seemed to make everything more obvious.
Also would have liked more Michael Shannon. He's hilarious.
I found one on Crave that was pretty good - “Pu-239”. Older movie about a Russian nuclear plant worker who gets irradiated in an accident, received poor treatment at the hands of the management, so he steels some weapons grade plutonium and tries to sell it in Moscow to give a bit of money to his family before he ultimately croaks of radiation poisoning.
My description might make it sound like a dark comedy, but it has serious, super depressing tone.
