But, for what it's worth, Alberta increased their emissions by 18% from 2005 to 2017 while BC decreased their emissions by 1.5% in the same time frame.
That’s because of the oil sands. The end.

Are we a country or are we a collection of independent states that trade (just kidding) with each other? I believe it is the latter in everything but symbolic gesture at this point.

And whiteout same goes for you on assumptions first of all and secondly I am right. Saying you think everyone should quit smoking but then you yourself smoking the #### out of a pack a day, makes no god damn sense. Meanwhile everyone you are telling to stop smoking is also doing crystal meth and you’re also saying that smoking is okay so long as it is in your neighbours house not yours.

There are so many fundamentally flawed logic holes in the environmental movement they have lost all credibility particularly when you find out that they are being paid by a neighboring smoke shop to tell you to stop smoking.

If you want to believe false altruism and the height of arrogance in moral superiority couched within a facade of environmentalism that’s on you.

A real estate based money laundering economy is very low emission.

You've just solved all of our problems!

Order of Canada candidate here!

We can make money by not making money! Its brilliant in its simplicity!

The sad part is that I'm not entirely joking.

That's cool, and pretty much exactly what I got at with my previous post.

What it doesn't explain is how BC had such a decrease in the per-capita carbon emissions of its population. It's a 12% reduction. That isn't minor. Was it something in industry? Are there just more multi-dwelling houses? Is there more part-time residents who are out of province a lot? Did carbon tax change lifestyle? I honestly don't know, but it's certainly not a number to scoff at.
