Its either an Ice Cream Flavour or a Stripper, either way they're getting lots of work!
Especially for a team that has 3-4 goaltenders in town.

If they are moving Markstrom, starting Wolf is an exceptional move - the crowd who might otherwise be unhappy about losing a great goalie will be excited about seeing Wolf. Plus it's about as favorable a start as possible. SJ on a BTB.

Wolf was hung out to dry by the Flames defence.

That was an absolute defensive clown show tonight. I think Tanev pumped two past Wolf on his own.

While true, Wolf hung out the flames defence also.

Wolf had a rough game and some bad luck that didn’t help. Hannafin gave the puck away on an attempted cross ice pass in front of his own net. Causes a goal against For the second game in a row. Guy has to be smarter. Team just couldn’t get it together, and gave the win to the sharks

Yeah, it doesn't have to be one or the other. And admitting he was bad doesn't mean you think he's a bust either.
Those first two goals may have went in anyway but he looked pretty bad on the save attempt just falling on his ass.

Wolf was horrible. I know he’s their golden child. But no denying that.

People who continue to have concerns about how Dustin Wolf's size will translate into NHL success did not have those feelings assuaged last night.

I was at the game, he looked really small in nets. Not Saros small, but really, really small.
But those spectacular stats he's posted in the AHL are not imaginary.
He's clearly a work in progress, and will take time.

Seems all he does is adjust and excel. At each level. He needs more NHL time and I'm betting the same occurs. It might be a little rough getting there though.

Yeah I think patience will be key. He's made adjustments and excelled at every other level. He may not work out of course but patience is important here because of his track record of meeting the challenge.

Wolf back to the Wranglers, along with Shwindt.
Hunt recalled. Vladar off of IR.

Unfortunate game for him last night. He played way too small, especially when he's flopping around in his own crease and leaving 4/5th of the net wide open at the top. He's gotta come out of the net to challenge and make himself bigger. Some of the D giveaways and bad coverages were absolutely terrible and some want to sign Hanifin and trade Andersson??? LOL
