Charlie with Candice Cameron, Dee with Xibit, Mac was Haley Joel Osment and Frank was Andrew Dice Clay. I'm looking forward to the premier as well, last season had some great moments, but some weak ones as well, we'll see how many good seasons they have left
Dude, that wasn't a pic at the bottom of my OP, it was a Youtube clip of a 30 second promo showing all the "new" characters you're talking about. When I mentioned Mac losing mass, I meant when they show him at the very end of the clip. Looks like he's lost a lot of weight, plus for the first time ever (at least that I can recall), was clean shaven.
It's actually kinda eerie how much Haley Joel Osment looks like Mac in that clip, haha I wonder how much Rob McElhenney likes hearing that...
Is this playing on FX Canada? I was looking at the guide the other day and saw Wilfred playing in the time slot that they say "its always sunny" is supposed to be playing.
Is this on another network in Canada?
I thought last season got off to a bit of a slow start, but by mid-season on I thought it was good. Chardee MacDennis, How Mac Got Fat, Thundergun Express, even the High School Reunion were all solid episodes.
I agree Sunny's not in its prime anymore, but its still a solid show. I simply don't get how some people think it needs to be sent off to pasture.
It's Always Sunny in Philly is an odd show. It has no likable characters, nothing ever works out for the gang, the stories are always about weird events.
I thought the season premiere was pretty decent, the beginning of the episode and the whole tie in back to the original pop-pop episode was neat. I think the season will save its best for the mid-way point. It feels like it takes a century of waiting between each season but the small doses of 13 episodes per season really keep it funny and not overdone IMO.
